is Anxiety?

Anxiety is a common yet often overwhelming experience that can affect anyone at any stage of life. It’s characterised by persistent feelings of worry, fear, or apprehension that can disrupt your daily routine and overall well being.

Our goal is to help you manage and alleviate these feelings in a supportive and understanding environment.

We draw from a variety of evidence-based techniques, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Solution Focused Therapy as well as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) depending on what works best for you.

to find us?

BEAM is located on Level 2 of the Burwood Health Centre on Mairehau Rd, Parklands, in Ōtautahi Christchurch.

It’s an awesome location:

  • Loads of free carparking
  • Downstairs cafe with great coffee and kai
  • Separate entrance – so no need to go through the medical centre
  • Brand new purpose – built rooms; private, warm,
    sunny, quiet and spacious
  • Our whānau/waiting room is private, large and sunny
  • Ōruapaeroa – Travis Wetland is just over the road and great for a ‘walk and talk’
